Bandai Hobby RG 1/144 Wing Gundam Zero (2026)
The legendary Wing Gundam Zero joins the Real Grade lineup as a completely new 1/144-scale model, integrating cutting-edge engineering and intricate RG-specific mechanisms to capture its dynamic mobility and elegant flight form.
The centerpiece of the design—the Wing Binders—features advanced articulation using a five-axis joint system, enabling natural, fluid posing and expressive motion. Inside the binders, a coordinated mechanism allows the vernier units, internal nozzles, and fins to move simultaneously, creating a seamless mechanical transformation when adjusting flight angles.
Through a clever parts reconfiguration system, the model transforms into its iconic Neo-Bird Mode without the need for additional parts. The transformation sequence includes the foot-folding mechanism seen in the series, faithfully reproduced for authentic transformation play. The shoulder armor can deploy to expose internal verniers and also stores the beam sabers when not in use.
The chest section features openable cockpit and intake covers, with the machine cannons deployable by lifting the upper intake panels. The hip joints each contain dual independent swing axes, allowing the waist to lower and shift dynamically for lifelike poses. The knee armor and calf plates move in sync with leg articulation for smooth, natural bending.
Weapons are recreated in full RG detail: the Twin Buster Rifle can combine or separate, with an extendable barrel mechanism exclusive to this RG version for enhanced shooting presentation. The shield includes a movable nose block and RG-original synchronized mini-wing deployment gimmick for elegant aerodynamic shaping.
A locking mechanism is built into the weapon-holding hands, ensuring stable grip during intense poses. Marking details are represented with Realistic Decals, highlighting the mechanical realism expected from the RG line.
