A High Grade 1/100 VF-31J Siegfried (Hayate Immelmann Use) Deluxe Set from Macross Δ, combining the fully featured VF-31J kit with exclusive bonus items—a newly illustrated acrylic stand of Freyja Wion by Macross Δ character designer Chisato Mita (CAPCOM) and a set of dedicated water-transfer decals for enhanced detailing. The acrylic stand features Freyja’s front illustration on the front side and her back view printed on the reverse for a premium display finish.
The VF-31J itself incorporates the “Shortcut Change” three-step transformation system, using select replacement parts to simplify conversion between Battroid, Gerwalk, and Fighter modes. This streamlined engineering ensures each mode maintains accurate proportions and mechanical detail faithful to the setting art, while preserving stability and wide articulation for dynamic posing.
The design removes overly complex transformation mechanisms, instead focusing on optimized articulation points for smooth, natural movement in every form. This release also marks the first use of insert molding in the HG Macross line, allowing intricate multi-color parts right from the runner without painting, even in areas with complex color separation.
The canopy uses polarizing-molded clear parts and can be opened or closed. The container unit can be displayed in its stored position through part swapping, while the minigun pod features a pivoting mount for forward deployment in combat stances.
Accessories include two finely detailed combat knives, a complete set of landing gear, dedicated Fighter-mode reproduction parts, and multiple joint components for versatile display. Three pilot figures are included—two versions of Hayate Immelmann and one of Freyja Wion—along with a multi-drone–style display base for aerial or action poses. A selection of expressive interchangeable hand parts supports a variety of gestures, from weapon grips to dynamic open-hand action.
