HG 1/100 VF-31J SIEGFRIED (HAYATE IMMELMANN USE)(2025)
A High Grade 1/100 model of the VF-31J Siegfried piloted by Hayate Immelmann from Macross Δ, designed to combine high-quality detailing with approachable assembly through innovative engineering. The kit introduces the “Shortcut Change” three-step transformation system, which uses select replacement parts to simplify the sequence, allowing smooth conversion between Battroid, Gerwalk, and Fighter modes while preserving the refined proportions and silhouettes seen in official setting art.
The transformation structure is carefully balanced to remove unnecessary complexity while incorporating optimal articulation points for each mode, delivering a new level of posing capability. Each form has been engineered to maintain clean lines and mechanical accuracy, ensuring both visual appeal and stability.
This release marks the first use of insert molding in the Macross HG series, enabling intricate multi-color parts straight from the runner without the need for painting, even in complex color separation areas. The canopy uses polarizing-molded clear parts and can be opened or closed for added realism. The container unit can be displayed in a stored state via part swapping, while the minigun pod features a pivoting mechanism for forward deployment in combat poses.
Weapons and accessories include two combat knives, landing gear, dedicated Fighter-mode parts, and multiple joint components for stable attachment of equipment. Three finely sculpted pilot figures are included: two versions of Hayate Immelmann and one of Freyja Wion, along with a multi-drone–style display base for dynamic flight poses. Interchangeable expressive hand parts allow for a variety of gestures, from action grips to open-palm poses.
Combining sharp mechanical design, thoughtful transformation engineering, and premium part separation, the VF-31J Siegfried delivers an accurate, highly poseable, and visually striking model ideal for both display and reenacting scenes from Macross Δ.
